Cary M. Cox

President / CEO

Cary is a native Houstonian and graduated from Memorial High School, a National Exemplary school. He has a BA in Economics & Political Science from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation he continued his education and completed the post graduate curriculum to become a licensed Real Estate and Mortgage Broker.

Cary has been involved in the Real Estate/Mortgage Industry his entire professional career. Prior Flagstone, he was a partner in Houston Residential Properties.  Cary has been a guest-speaker on numerous radio shows, interviewed on television as a mortgage expert, and spoken to many organizations about mortgage financing.

Because of his real estate experience he knows the importance of communicating with all parties, his client, their realtor, and the seller’s realtor during a purchase transaction. This knowledge helps him navigate mortgage transactions smoothly and efficiently.

Cary’s goal is to be an advisor and consultant before during and after the mortgage transaction to his clients. His approach is to be a good listener of his client’s needs and objectives and provide the best solution to meet them.

Outside of the office Cary is involved in the community through his work with the Kiwanis Club of Houston where he is a member and previously on the board of directors. The Kiwanis Foundation of Houston annually donates over $100,000 to charities helping children in the city.

Cary also currently serves on the Board of Directors for The University of Texas Alumni Association. Through their fund-raising efforts are able to give out over a $100,000 a year in scholarships to Houston area students.

In addition Cary has practiced and taught martial arts for almost twenty years. He has Black-Belts in multiple styles, though his favorites are Krav-Maga & Jiu-Jitsu. Cary also enjoys wakeboarding and running.
